Need A Stairlift ("we," "us") helps homeowners get stairlift quotes without sales calls. This policy explains what we collect through needastairlift.com (the "Site"), how we use it and who we share it with.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, mobile phone number, email address and the best time to reach you.
- Home and stair details: the address where the stairlift will go, whether you own or rent, your stair layout, measurements and obstacles.
- Photos and video of your stairs that you upload.
- Rider details that affect the fit, such as weight, height, mobility and timing.
- Payment: payments are processed by our payment provider (Zoho). We do not see or store your full card number.
- Basic technical data such as your browser type, the page you came from, and a campaign or group code in the link you used. While you fill out the form, your answers are saved in your own browser for that session so you don't lose them.
How we use it
- To request stairlift quotes for you and send them to you by email.
- To contact you about your request if we need to clarify a detail.
- To process your payment and any refund.
- To prevent fraud and duplicate requests, and to keep records required by law.
Who we share it with
- Stairlift installers that serve your area receive your city, ZIP code, stair details and photos, and rider details that affect the fit, so they can price the job. They do not receive your phone number or email address, and we do not give them your full name.
- Service providers that run the Site for us (for example web hosting, online forms and file storage, payments, email and phone services). They may use the information only to provide those services to us. Calls we make to installers about your request may be recorded for accuracy.
- When required by law or to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your phone number or email with installers or marketers.
How long we keep it
We keep your request for as long as needed to get your quotes, handle refunds and keep business and tax records, and then delete or anonymize it.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@needastairlift.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under state law, and we will honor them.
Children
The Site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
