These Terms govern your use of needastairlift.com (the "Site") and the Need A Stairlift quote service ("we," "us"). By using the Site or submitting a quote request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What we do

Need A Stairlift is a quote service. You tell us about your stairs, and we contact independent stairlift companies that serve your area, ask for their prices and send the quotes to you. We do not sell, install or service stairlifts, and we are not a party to any agreement you make with an installer.

2. No sales calls

We do not give installers your phone number or email address. Installers receive only the information described in our Privacy Policy. You decide whether and when to contact an installer.

3. Fee and quote guarantee

  • The quote service has a flat fee, shown on the Get Quotes page before you pay. Payment is processed securely by our payment provider.
  • We work on your request after your payment is received.
  • Guarantee: if we can't get you at least 3 installer quotes for your request, we will refund your fee in full.
  • You may also ask for a refund before we start contacting installers. Email info@needastairlift.com with your quote number.

4. Quotes are estimates

Quotes are estimates based on the answers and photos you provide. The installer you choose sets the final price, usually after a site visit. Installers are independent businesses. We do not guarantee any installer's price, availability, licensing, insurance or work, and we do not endorse any installer. Please check an installer's licensing, insurance and references before you sign anything.

5. Contacting you

By submitting a request, you agree that we may contact you by email, phone or text message at the details you provide, only about your request, your quotes and your payment. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop at any time.

6. Your information and photos

You confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you have the right to share the photos and video you upload. You allow us to share your stair details, photos and video with installers so they can prepare quotes.

7. Acceptable use

Do not submit false or misleading information, use the Site for an unlawful purpose, use bots or scrapers, or interfere with the Site's security or operation.

8. No professional advice

Content on the Site is general information, not medical, legal, financial or professional advice.

9. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXCEPT THE QUOTE GUARANTEE ABOVE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY INSTALLER'S PRODUCTS, PRICES OR WORK. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE REQUEST.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The version in effect when you submit a request applies to that request.
